The inventory manages all the stock one has for a nursery or school. Easy viewing of the requirements vs current stock levels with the ability to see product life spans.
Help
The software also contains a help guide illustrating how to use each feature. Should further assistance be needed, there is a support email to contact, and a team will provide assistance when applicable.
Timesheet
A simple format where one can see when the employee has clocked in, is on leave, or is out. Simple export formats for submitting for payroll purposes.

The Branch offers a summarised view of all nurseries or schools that belong to an owner/organisation/trust.

Easy to log safeguarding matters related to employees, which can be assigned and tracked until the necessary action(s) has/have been closed.

Within certain industries, regulations are extremely important, therefore, this section caters to this in quick preparation guides to help get nurseries and schools ready for inspections. With simple, quick efforts, it is easier to maintain “outstanding” and “good” ratings throughout the year.
Settings
The Administrator will be the person who has full access and be able to set up the software with the customer’s information and content. They will also be able to manage user access and permissions.
PeopleBunch, a nursery management software, was developed out of the frustration of using existing software, but the core functionalities were not available on one platform. The result was that multiple subscriptions were needed in order to run a nursery or school effectively. This also necessitated additional costs due to having several subscriptions. Even with the multiple platforms, it was not possible to cover all the core functionalities needed.
We wanted to create software on a single platform that offered the following features required by businesses to run efficiently:
- People’s planning can be easily scheduled, edited, and distributed in a simple, visual form; as a result, they know what is expected of them on a daily basis.
- Understanding how people work, how they learn, communicate, and what motivates them in order to bring out the best qualities they have to offer.
- Creating and growing peoples’ development while they understand what they’re responsible for.
- Eliminating paperwork, large files, physical storage areas, and time wasted searching for the necessary paper for inspections and/or audits.
- Having simple checklists that are needed for regulation purposes and to prepare for inspections.
- Creating and sequencing curriculums that cater to all applicable subjects equally, with the primary aim for pupils to retain knowledge and be equipped for future learning.
- Create an environment that encourages leaders to grow stronger, with the aim of providing higher performance while being seen as role models for the institutions, governing bodies, and staff.
This was our goal, and we have successfully created PeopleBunch, which provides all of these features in one place. Each feature is easy to access and read at a glance. We’ve made it easier and faster to manage people and regulations for nurseries and schools.
We conducted many user interviews and found that users in the sector lack confidence and usually have a negative experience when interacting with software. For this reason, it was imperative for us to design software that was simple and easy to use, with a minimum number of clicks needed to complete any task.

Our research also showed that there are four main user groups for this software, including operations managers, nursery managers, HR professionals, and practitioners. Each user group has different problems and goals, which we then captured in personas as part of our research efforts.
Creating the personas helped us to better understand the needs of each user group and design our product in a way that meets their unique requirements. This helped us to create a customised and effective user experience for each group.
As you can see, we’ve done in-depth research to ensure that each user group can easily and effectively use our nursery management software. We understand the problems each user experiences and have developed our software to overcome these issues and make it simple and fast to manage nurseries and schools like never before.
It’s no longer necessary for a nursery or school to use multiple subscription-based platforms for administrative tasks. Not only can this be expensive, but it’s also inefficient. In addition, the platforms don’t line up with government regulations, leading to even more costs and difficulties with being in compliance.
